First Gold Find!!!

I took a lunch break from the office and decided to try TTF on the etrac at the local park. After hitting a clad dime and a few copper cents, I got a solid 12:36 at 4 inches. My first gold!!! I'm pretty excited!!

Very nice 10K or 14K? Congrats!

Almost looks like 18K by the color! Congrats! Still waiting on my first Gold! I did find a 14K earring, while metal detecting, but it was laying on top of the ground and I saw it, so I can't really claim finding it with my metal detector!

That's a cool looking ring. I wonder what the symbols are supposed to represent? Congrats on your first gold!

Cool looking ring. Congrats.

Nice looking piece of gold there. What's the weight? It looks pretty hefty. Are those possibly native American symbols on there?

Now the question is what is the weight? That is an outstanding first gold find. My first gold find was a 14k white gold wedding band. I thought that it was junk until someone with better eyes told me that it was real Congratulations on that great find.

@MiffDan and @Agseeker and @GeorgeinSC:

The symbols resemble Native American Hopi designs... The sun is definitely a Hopi sun symbol. It weighs 9 grams. :)

That is a nice ring and I also see a Kokopelli "the flute player"... which is a fertility symbol for the Hopi tribe. I use to see that symbol a lot around the state of Arizona.

Congrats on your first gold. That is a nice looking ring.
