terry g is correct. Lovely 22 carat ring made in Birmingham, England. If you can get a close up picture of the last symbol on the hallmarks i should be able to give you the date it was manufcatured.

Thanks but I already had a lot of fun online interpreting the Hallmark. It was made by Charles Green & Son, 22 carat (British Spelling) gold (changed to 916 after 1974), Assayed Birmingham, and the stylized L "date letter" for 1960.

Found in the wet sand between waves at low tide, using a Sovereign GT with a 15 x 12 SEF coil. It weighs 6.1 grams.
