Just got a new video camera and started taping my finds. Have made 4 vids in the last 4 days and will be posting them. Here are two hunts I did in the woods. In the first one I pull a walking half :wiggle:

Very nice couple of videos RC! Thanks for taking the time to film them and I love hearing the tones before the hole is opened up! Congratulations on the finds. Welcome to the 3 Merry Widow club too.

Good videos. Your going to have to get me in on that private park too....;o)

Can probably arange that. I should have started making videos when I first started detecting it. Have pulled 30-40 silvers out of there and it's getting harder to find them now...

@Digger Thanks for the compliment. Will give Pedro a pet =)

@Nebtrac Thanks! I love finding nice coins but those unique items can be really neat and give you something to research when you get home.

Thats when it gets challenging........;o)

Great finds! When you say "private park" are you refering to something like a fishing or camping area? Bill_S and I think videos that show the sights and sounds of the detector before the dig is way more educational and exciting. I see that you have done this in your videos and it adds a lot more substance to them. We know how hard it is to film and produce videos and you've done great. You can see our vids on the "tube" by searching DirtFishing and mowerdog

Thanks for the kind words and will definitely check your video channels. This was a private park, that's all I can say for now :) It's not something that could be found anywhere online for sure. I ran across it and tried to research it online and found nothing. Where you from khouse?

Central Missouri about 40 miles South East of Kansas City, Missouri.
I searched for private parks in my area and came up with RV parks, campsites and some fishing resorts. If there are other types of private parks around I can't seem to get any hits? Maybe I'n not using the right key works in the search?

Like I said this wasn't a site that could be found online for any keyword really. It was something I just stumbled across and had that gut feeling that there would be lots of goodies. Got permission and started pulling multiple silvers so been hitting it hard since. Probably been there 10 times. Brought my dad with me a few times and he pulled 6 silvers in one day including a walker. I bet KC being so old and huge has a lot of places to go. Are there a lot of people that detect there?

Good finds! what part of the country you from? You can just say east or west if you don't want to say the state, its just that the stream in the video looked familiar.

Nice videos, even nicer finds. What brand camera are you using? I have an older Kodak Zi6, it has a macro switch on the side of it.........nge

I have places to go. Just wasn't aware of any private parks.....

I was saying in general I bet the bigger cities have a ton of places to go. I've alwasys lived in towns with 150,000 or less but in a huge city it seems there would be a lot of old places. I've alwasy thought that city folk would be less interested in metal detecting than country folk so less competition. Maybe I'm totally off here

@NGE I'm using a Samsung that I got at wal mart for a super sale they had going. Was $160 and they had it marked down to $99, then marked again to $69 with 25% off so got it for $50 lol. Ordered a zi6 from ebay but when I got it in the mail and tried to use it for the first time it kept locking up so I just sent it back.
