Hey all

Well I went out on Saturday to a nearby abandoned tennis court for my first real hunt and had quite a bit of luck!
I don't know how old the courts are but there is a fair age spread on these coins!
The oldest is the 1867 penny and the newest a 1962 sixpence.

I hope my luck continues like this! :detecting:

Nice finds Ash. It looks like your Tracker IV is serving you well. I too hope your good luck continues. Are you going back to the tennis court or do you think you cleaned it out?

You'll get yourself addicted after finding that much on your first day. I am impressed in how well you have cleaned the copper.

Cheers all, I am pretty much addicted! :detecting:

Yeah I was surprised how clean they came up too, all I used was soapy water and a sponge!
I think the sandy nature of the soil around that area helped a lot.

You Ausies have some cool coins down there...Very good First Hunt...WTG!!

HH,

That's not luck. That's new-found skill. Mighty fine for your first real hunt.
I am impressed and don't impress easily. I hope you have continued
success with your new-found skill. The Tracker sure did you proud here.
