Went out yesterday and today on short quick trips 2 minutes driving and an hour of detecting each time. Worked this steeper grassy hillside at my standby spot and found a large 6-8 inch tootsie car a yellow porche probably from the 50-'s - 60's era. When did porche come about? Anyway i also found a medallion, interesting design but cheap metal. The first find of the new year was today a world war 2 button by scovill mfg co down by the river. I dont know my buttons and i thought for a second it my be civil war but its not. Sorry no pics

I found a toosie car about 2 weeks ago. I didn't know that's what it was called until I looked it up on ebay. It is 2" long, a Fiat Abarth.

Ya Ive found 4 smaller tootsie cars like that. I didnt know they made bigger ones till i found that one the other day. Same style of manufacturing same tootsietoy marking but larger. ill post it later. Its amazing they stay in such good shape the paints usually pretty good and they always still roll. They dont make stuff like they used too, now we get corroded pennies and cheap matchbox cars.
