So this is my first find. 18k crucifix w/ 24" rosary beads. Just under an 1 oz. Third time out hunting with BeachHunter 300 id. New to the hobby, but thoroghly enjoying it. Hats off to my good friend Rem,who was with me and has been showing me the ropes and the beaches. Thanks buddy!

Totally hooked. Putting on the wetsuit this weekend. Going to try the north shore. I have a place I need to get to by boat that might be fun.
 
Great Find! That will be the inspiration you will think about getting up in the morning! It should be a good motivator for several years, and you know, you WILL find more. You got the gear, you got the schooling, sounds like you got a good spot, go get more!

Congrats on the ring. No I'm headed up to Port jefferson just to check an area where a lot of people raft up their boats and swim. People used to camp there too. The ring that got tossed into the water is in the bay on the south shore and it's got a big diamond in it!!
