Been out a few times over the past week. My first find was the 1868 Shield Nickel I was very happy because it's the only one I've ever dug and its in beautiful shape. I went to a new spot that produced the next finds the first was the 1837 Hard Times Token also a first. The 1838 LC rang up in the 70's until I dug the plug than I got the solid 86 . The fork was just screaming VDI in the 90's sterling silver with makers mark. Found seven flat buttons the ones posted were choice. Won't be able to hunt this weekend the snow came and left the ground covered. HH Dutch

Great way to start the new season. Love the two buttons. Does the eagle button have the eye on the wrong side? Pretty rare if it does.
