First F-75 silver....Shes sitting down :)

Old California

New member
First, Thanks Mr. Bill for the F-75 :)

Met up with a friend (Steven) this morning which also has a new F-75, We wanted to try out the new models at an old area so we went up to the Ca. gold country to a recent site that has been giving seated almost every trip in.....We hit it hard today for about five hours straight, We both did really good being new with the F-75 but then again we are both T-2 users so we quickly adapted with the F-75, I noticed both the T-2 and F-75 fare about the same on separation in areas of iron and we both bagged a seated as the first silver for each of the F-75's.

1883 seated dime,
Several pistol balls,
Several Henry shells,
8 Chinese cache coins,
and some doodads,

The last picture has two like finds (spigot?) or I think that's what they are called? Anyway, One was recovered last week and the other today, I appreciate if anyone can date these.

Thanks for looking.
HH, Paul (Ca)

Paul: Well done my man, we both found silver and we both found the F75 a winner. It is just the next step up from a T2 but both machines are very even in relic mood. I like some of the programs on the F75 and I like how you can see different targets have different depths when they are close to one another that is just smart detecting.

So I think the F75 is going to stay and the T2 may have to go. I still have not gone relic hunting yet and I always seem to have a hard time but come out with something if not just having a great day out in the dirt.
No wonder why I am not married!

It is too bad you can't make it down for the hunt in April the snakes are already being smashed by cars on the roadway. Summer is coming fast so I tend to hunt lots and places I know to be snake safe.

I am going out to Preston and hit some strips where I found a lot of buttons am going to try the all metal mood and the jewelry mood and push the sens up as high as I can and dig deep targets. Maybe one lot for relic where I found an old button from the navy late 1800s.

That is one sweet looking seated! Congrats!

Tom

Thanks Tom,

As good as the T-2 is it's hard to break away and stay with the F-75, What many F-75 users are experiencing is what we T-2 users did at the beginning. Super fast recovery speed and great separation in older areas full of iron, I like the F-75 but then again the T-2 fills the need for certain types of detecting.

Thanks again,
Paul (Ca)

Hello Lawrenzo,

I like both the T-2 and F-75, Both get the job done :)

Congrats with the cool finds and watch out for rattlesnakes, I've got my eye peeled for those critters now that it's getting warmer.

Having never used either one I still have to agree with you. For certain types of hunting, mine included, The T2 is probably all one needs.
