First ever gold nugget found with the Vortex

oldkoot

Well-known member
here is a video of Gerry McMullen finding the very first nugget in the world found with the Garret Vortex, and its not about finding a gold nugget its the fact that it was the very first gold nugget that the Vortex has ever found, for anyone that does not know Gerry is a top notch world class gold hunter that has found thousands of gold nuggets all over the U.S and probably other countries he is also a multi line dealer in Idaho, and a fantastic metal detector trainer

Anyways here is the Video for everyone's enjoyment

I have to wonder why most detectorists are "Old Men". I know many are younger detectorists but it seems like 80% of detector users are old. Maybe its an old mans hobby!

Never seemed to have the time to detect as much as I wanted. Now I'm getting old.
And has become the best escape from home confinement with the perpetually angry wife. 😆
