First Day/ Won't be the Last Day for sure!!!

Got my X-Terra 705 today. Have been studying for a week preparing for this day. My first hunt was the UPS delivery man in my town so as to to have to wait any longer for delivery. My lovely wife joined me for the maiden hunt of a local lake day use area. Her companionship was sort lived when it was discovered that she is very impatient. When I did not locate a 24 K ring crusted in diamonds in the first ten minutes she quit me which took 30 minutes of the day driving her home. That is where the day turned good!!! Went to a school and searched their soccer field locating approximately 200 shards of aluminunim. Wondering who does that I soon realized that Mr. School Mower man is to lazy to dismount his mower to remove litter so he just shreds it in place. I then moved to a small county park along a wild river. There I located (2) quarters, (1) nickle and (3) pennies all modern day and all almost unrecognizable from the pounding of the river rocks. Also fund the frequent pull tab and corona bottle caps with a mixture of lead shot and a fishing lures. I now ache from head to toe from the digs but it was worth the cost of the machine and the pain I now suffer just for the excitement I felt digging my 1st quarter from the slow death it was living at the hand of mother nature.

Third day will be the last for the little misses. I should of learned day one!!. Drove 2 hours to the pacific coast to do some beach detecting in Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Brought the wife again. Turns out that if it is not 80 degrees, soft music playing in the back ground and two eunuch's waiting on her hand an foot she is not happy. After 30 years I should of know better than to try but I will never learn.

I had prepared myself with a old photograph of the 1920's dirt parking lot of a very popular Inn that is now abandoned called he Navarro Inn or "Navarro by the sea" . The parking area was now heavily over grown and I had imagined finding nothing but silver coins the drunks had lost back in the day. Instead I found that I had 10 minutes to myself before I was commanded to return the gate keeper to a warmer climate. I did find a rusty old bolt that my wife instantly took and placed into her purse with my balls. The bolt probably came from the last poor guys ball and chain from 1920's.

I will now search solo and happy because she has assured me she will not bug me to go ever again I am sure.
