First Day with X-terra 70

Went out for about 3 hours today to a place that I have hit several times before and in the same places and managed to find $1.92 in clad, a charm that says Emily but it is not sliver, a gas cap to an old vehicle and the usual junk although not as much as usual. At one point I had a weird signal and decided to dig it. It turned out to be pull tabs connected together. The weird rusted object I have no idea what it is but it looks like some sort of gear or something and rang in high.

All in all I really like this detector. It is light weight and easy to use. I used pattern 1 and all I really did was ground balance it and off I went. I am looking forward to many more hours on it!!! Enjoy the pictures!!

Way to go Lafatlife! Not bad at all for the first hunt. I agree with you, it is a great detector and it is very easy to use. I know you will be posting more finds.

For your first trail run with the machine I think you did great, especially if you hunted this area hard earlier. Hopefully gold and silver will be popping out of the ground soon for you. Nice pictures and yes it looks like a gear to me too.

Congrats on the new X-Terra! You did real well on your 1st hunt! Keep at it and the finds will happen, Beale.
