First day with Sun Ray pro golds on gt

I've been using Eagle ($60) head phones on my gt for about 6 months, but today I got to try my new pro golds (at the beach). What a difference! I always figured the eagles were fine since I dig almost everything anyway, but the pro golds are much nicer. Much more comfortable, stay put better, volume knobs on each ear that click, a 90 degree plug, much less outside noise, and the sound is much more pleasing to me. The limiter switch seems to quiet down everything, and if I turn up the volume a little with the limiter switch on the tones sound "different". Kind of simplified... like the difference between a "E" note and a "E" chord. Don't know which I like better but kind of cool to hear a different kind of tone. I wish I could have tried all the top name head phones first but I went with the pro golds and really like em.
Cheers,
Jim

That limiter circuit would be nice to have and I've heard good things about those headphones on a Sovereign. I like my Sony Studio phones but need to build a limiter for them as they get too loud with the volume all the way up on shallow targets.
