I got my new XS2 on Friday and went out with it on Saturday. I went to a new location, so I can't say if it was the location or the machine, but I did have an excellent day. It took about an hour to get used to it, but after that I started rolling. My first find was an 1899 Barber half dollar... my first ever half and my first ever Barber as well. I also found an 1899 "V" nickel, another first, as the Buffalo was my oldest nickel to date. In addition, I found a 64 Washington quarter and 5 wheatback pennies, the oldest dating 1919. How could you not love the explorer after a day like that! I'm sold for certain. I can only wait until the learning curve is past me. <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">
