First day with my X-Terra 70 and got a Silver Ring!!! :clapping:

Hello fellow . Today after work I had 2 hours before I went home to enjoy family time. I couldn't wait to use my new metal detector. I tried a new area where I've never been before and voala. I found another virgen area, around 7 bucks in clad, a key lock, a dog tag and this cute .925 Silver ring. Too big for my ladies finger though. Too bad, the color of the purple rock is so nice. I think I'm going to love this monster. I'm using 4 tones and Pattern number 1 so far. I know goes4ever likes all metal but I'm not there yet. Will see how it goes tomorrow morning when I return to the same place for two more hours before I go to work again. I hope everbody had a nice Thanksgiving and enjoy the sweet weekend!!!​

Yes, I think you will like AM as Paul says. And, it is an easy transition from patterns. But, most importantly, take your time and get comfy with the X-70. It's a heck of a machine but , then of course I'm very biased

Thanks guys!!! I will try the all metal and see what happens. This morning I found about 6.70 bucks in clad. I know there is quite a bit more, this place is huuuuge!!!. If I dig in all metal, how many tones you guys use?​
