purchased new mxt a couple on my birthday and couldn't wait to try it. I didn't even wait to get it home, I had to try it out in the parking lot. Call it beginners luck but my first find was a 20 in. 14K gold chain! It was not in the best shape but was not broken. WOW! At this rate ill pay for it in a matter of weeks. I consider it luck, and I'm open for any tips or tricks that people might want to share. Thanks :stars:

I Don't Want To Hear About It !!!!! LOL Just joking (i am in process of saving for my MXT). Many have this detector so you should get all kinds of "Tips and Tricks". Also try http://forum.treasurenet.com/whites/

Heres a website that might be of help to you as well.
Someone else posted it in another post, yesterday I think.

There is some useful information there.

I also have an MXT. I use it more than my Ace 250.
Bought it used. It was only three years old and I have had NO problems
with it. $300.00. Good deal. Check out some of the pawn shops. Sometimes you
can find a good deal on good detectors there.
