When I ordered my Exp2 from Treasurehut, I got the Sunray X1 probe at the same time, and a great deal!
With the battery charging overnight, I had trouble sleeping with the anticipation of using my new machine! I woke up at 6:00am and couldn't go back to sleep, so I got up. The battery was supposed to charge another 2 hours (by the book) but I could'nt wait anymore!
First day's finds with the Exp2.:
1937 wheat cent out of my back yard which has been hunted thoroughly with DFX, Garret 450, Bounty Hunter, Xterra 30, and Excalibur 1000. came from 10" deep next to two old nails! Also found another 3 pennies and a dime from same backyard.
After getting a feel for it, went to a local park. I started swinging and noticed someone had been there about a week ago - plug cuts and all. Don't like it when guys leave the junk in the holes they dig. Decided to see what I could find.
Well, in the picture is a bunch of pennies, three nickles, two dimes, two matching gold plated earings, a gold chain (broken at clasp) and a 5 and 25 centavos coins from Cuba! A long way from home. The crushed ring in the top right I found in the parking lot. It says Sterling German on the inside.
This machine is incredible! My son was with me and kept running over to my wife showing her what I found next. What a day!
Can't wait for tomorrow!
Anyone out there retire early just so they could spend more time detecting??? I still have about 20 more years to go!
God bless and HH!
