First day out with the X-70

Finally able to try it out, just in the back yard with the kids. Just used pattern 1 with sen around 20, was real stable. Recovered 2 keys, 4 pennies not sure what year yet haven't cleaned them, couple pieces of scrap and of course 1 pull tab. Not to bad for 30 min. I've hit the yard pretty good over the year with my other units and our home is not that old. Next outing plan on recording the target I.D numbers for better reference and switching between patterns and all metal.Really like this detector. Derek

once you get used to all metal you won't want to detect w/o using it. I think the depth is better, the signals are clearer, and it makes it easier to hear a good target between the trash

I agree 100%. I started with patterns and quickly progressed to AM. Oh...the sweet sound of hitting a quarter:clap:

Congrats on the hunt! You did just fine for your first one. Good luck to you with the X-Terra, Beale.
