First day out with new CZ-70

I have been waiting for 2 weeks to break in my new machine(working 7 days a week). Sunday I left work early to hit a bean field that use to have a old farm house on it. I was very happy with the CZ other than it is alittle heavy but worth the weight.I found a 02 & 07 IH, 1917 wheatie, 3 ring mini ball, 2 grape shot, several buttons, and a few other odds & ins which made it a pretty good outing.I believe this area was the barn or stable area due to the nature of some of the iron items I found and the lack of "house" items, But I`ll hit again next weekend to try and find the house site.

Excellent! Looks like a great first outing to me. The CZ will serve you well, I think...one of the best. We need to hit these spots hot and heavy before the land season is over and it's back to the beach. I'm looking forward to that as well...all that pesky gold out there that will need picking up. Somebody's gotta do it!
