First Day Out With My M6

A beautiful day, a new location, and my new whites M6. After getting familiar with this machine, I dug a little trash and then started to figure out what were good targets. Several brass casings from different caliber rifles,7 wheat pennies (1919 to 1951) 1 war nickle (1944-p) and 1 buffalo (192:geek:.The pennies were badly corroded as was the brass, but the nickles were in great shape. Except for the 1951 penny which was 2" down, the rest of my finds were 4 to 6" deep. The area was an old swimming spot with mostly pine trees and sandy soil. ...Jim in eastern Ma.
