First day out in the yard.

I was getting a little discuraged, finding nothing but nails, nails, and more nails, old tin cans and other junk. That was yesterday, and today I went out agian reset the settings on my vac and found 15 coins in about an hour. Most of the coins are fairly current, but I found myself a 1951 American Wheat Penny, a 1958 Canadian nickel, and a 1966 Canadian penny that looks brand new. I've got the bug now !!!

Mark, B.C. Canada

That's all it takes. I started detecting a long time ago and each time I go out, I wonder WHAT I'll find next.
Good luck in your future treasure hunts.

Thanks guy's, I'm heading back out for a little more practice in the yard right now. Once I'm done here (couple more day's) there's an old church that's been there since the 20's right across the street from my house. Can't wait to see whats in the ground over there.

Mark, what part of B.C. are you in?
BB - N Idaho

Not that far - Vancouver Island and city, Kootenai Lake area, Cranbrook, Fort Steel, Kelowna, etc. Really enjoyed our travels in B.C.

Yup there's gold up in the Ft. St. James area, about an hour and a half drive from where I live. I hope to get up there sometime this summer. There's also the Wells, Barkerville area south of Prince George. Where did your brother in law find the nugget he gave you?
