The ruff surf earlier sent me back to the hotel. When low tide came we were there and it was bleak.... very bleak.... Bia dry sanded but the oversanded beach made it tuff to find anything.

Dave from Suffolk stopped by to say hi. He's a real cool dude!

Can you eat these? This guy was 10 inches wide and over a foot long!

Came back and found this critter on the balcony. Bia named him "Speckels".

Wow, that ring looks like it was down there for a LONG time. Is it silver? If so, electrolysis will bring it back.

Glad to see you found something. There's gold there but you will really need to work it and even then, get real lucky. But that can change at any time. Hopefully it will. How long you going to be here?

It feels like galvanized pipe. Seriously! I'll see what it reads on the XLT's VDI scale. That will help me figure it out...

+95... That is silver! Wow... Thanks Mike!

Were leaving Sunday at 11:00am.

Come see us!

Low tide is at 8 PM tonight. If the weather permits, I may make it down to the Boardwalk hotel at around 7. I will have to play it by ear...both with the weather and the fact that my wife just got back this morning from a week in Georgia, visiting her family. But I have some brownie points banked, so...we'll see if I can get my "liberty card", as we used to say in the Navy. :)

If I'm heading down I will post here on the way out, sometime around 6.

Nice find. I looked for you this am but you were no where to be seen. Call and let me know what your plans are for tonight. Maybe we can get together and swap lies about the surf lane. HH and good luck
