First day at new site and oldest Wheat yet

Got permission to hunt a 1928 house and hit half the front yard today. Discovered that half the area had been dug up by the city a little while ago for utilities rebuild and it was barren the rest was well littered with very old type roofing nails, kinda like bottle caps but harder to hear. The payoff was a handful of seventies change but under an old oak tree 8" down and under a large root (took some creative digging) hit a 1920 wheat. Property owner planted that tree sixty years ago. Hope to keep pushing those dates back!

Maybe the side yard will be better next time..
 
I found My first IH penny last week at a 1938 house. Good luck on some older coins:thumbup:
