Hey all, for years I have wanted plate and today I dug an Eagle plate and just stared in disbelief. It was a milestone for me. Pretty stoked.

Good job. I've been relic hunting off an on for over thirty years and have only found one eagle plate. Thought it was a pop can when I first uncover it. Congrats on a great find.

Nice find Bman - looks to be in good shape too. I have yet to find one of those.

Congrats. Its gonna display real nice. What machine were you using ? How deep was it ? What kind of signal did it give off etc.... We ALL want to know a bit more ..... :please: CCH

Cajuncoinhunter, I had been digging can slaw and not finding much when I hit a 3 ringer. The next signal was loud like a can and about 8 inches down on its side I pulled this out of the sandy NC soil.
Using the etrac in TTF mode .
I did not freak out at first ,kind of did not believe what I was seeing untill I started hunting again, then pulled the plate out and stared at for a few minutes. Most likely will go down as my find of the year.

Congratulations. I am still looking for my first also.
