First cool find

I found this today in my yard after hours of digging nails and various other junk. I'm not sure what it is or what the cowboy is holding. I think it may be a part of an old necklace but im not sure. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for looking................

After looking at it a little more i've determined that the cowboy in the picture is playing a fiddle.
