First competition hunt with F-75

Swing as fast as you want. It will hit hard on any coin that is there, silver, gold, whatever if you have the discrimination set right. No interference from other detectors. Did great on the deep hunt. I didn't slow down my swing speed at all and the targets still hit hard at 6-8"s. In my opinion, if Fisher had a 8" concentric coil that could pinpoint better than the stock coil, the F-75 might be the best machine for competition hunts.

I'm sure glad that I got the machine back from being serviced in time to use it for the hunt. My hats off to Mike Scott and the service dept. at First Texas.

I used mine at our competition in May and was very surprised it worked so good with other detectors around. I tried a T-2 last year and any and all detectors bothered it. Like you say you can swing as fast as you want and still hear the signals.

have me thinking - until five minutes ago I have been using a Fisher 1236-X2 machine for competition hunting. Questioning the DD coil which so far hasn't been a problem on pinpoint, I'm using the small visual molded circle in the center of the coil as my target point. If you have any memory of your mode and setup of the machine for competition hunting, I would appreciate the info.
