I got a late start this year due to being very sick.I got to go out and do some coiningshooting today after work. I found about 6 pennies. One of the is a wheat, but can not make out the date it has some damage there. All the others were dated from 1967 to 1976.I found them in my yard near a tree. If it is not raining I am going out tomorrow to a play ground near by.

Good job on finding the Wheat. The one I found a few weekends ago was damaged with an old rock scrape on Lincolns face. It was so encrusted, I had to clean it first before seeing a date of 1944. Only found 2 cents on that outing with some other things but that Wheat still made my day big. It had also been a long dry spell since my last Wheat.
Rain or none, I'm going to try and detect this weekend. Get after that playground like serious is happy dirt hunting.
