Tons of square nails, but the first hit of the night was an 1897 IH in good condition. This is a first for me and my oldest by about 20 years.

That's gotta feel good. Nice work.

That should be a sign of good things to come. Congratulations on your first Indian Head!!

Always feels great breaking the century barrier! It is in nice shape too! Your reward for dealing with the nails.:clapping:

It took 3 years to get it. 2 young kids and mildly disabled wife limit my time.

Noone can say you didn't earn it. Hope that's the start of a roll for you.

Congrats on the 1800's coin!

It looks like it is in great condition too, full liberty. Congratulations Matt.

This site gave up to wheat penny pocket spills worth about 10 coins this weekend. Still have no silver off of it, but I know it was also cherry picked a few years ago with an XLT. Going to try the golden next with a 4" coil, my 4x6 on the DFX still spends about half the time nulled out due to iron. Tried mixed mode with audio disc. off and just could not listen to it for very long.
