So far July has been a good month....got a sunrise start this morning,the water was kinda dirty,didn't like that after the news this morning of a 10' bull shark caught in Tampa Bay last night...so i started out in knee deep water....First target was a quarter,then same area,nickle,quarter,...first class ring..1978..got a full name inside,no school...tried google & facebook...no luck...now what?...
Moving up the beach i got the fishing gear,hoop,and the braided kids bracelet,and more coins ..starting back down the beach was Penny's and nickles,tabs and tops,till i got the silver chain with hand and turquoise stone...looks like its been there awhile,chain is fragile,but hand cleaned up(funny, the braided bracelet has a hand on it too!!)...got the platinum,15.3g ring about 30 minutes later...didn't know it was plat,but i knew it was heavy...I keep every thing in my pocket till i get home...then its like finding it all over again when i put my glasses on......
So last week i whined/let it be known on somebodies post i never found anything better than 14k...then found the 18k ring last Monday.....mentioned on another post...no class ring...today bingo...so on my way up the beach i thought i would mention never found a plat on a post..WOW...SO just to make it clear i never found a Rolex...with a gold doubloon stuck to it..Good Luck.. thanks for lookin HH bob.oz

I love how you think...thats my perspective to! Wonder if it'll work for me....still waiting on a class ring and Rolex...would settle for a nicer watch than I presently own....congratulations!!

Dang that's a whopper! Nice hunt. I was just up the street from you today. I also saw your buddy (line jumper) I tried to say hi and couldn't even get his attention. I think he's just an a$$.

Might have me confused with someone else...Dint know line jumper....I was down on the grill...only saw one other MDer on the shore line....Thanks,it is a biggie....Good Luck

SWEET PLATINUM!! Wow another honker for you. Congrats. If you want to find the owner of the ring try zabasearch.com. They will be about 52yrs old. You can try all of your state first and go from there. With no school though and spring break, I guess that one would be mine to melt. You are doing GREAT in the precious metals department.
 
Funny about findin' it twice....same here....congrats on a very successful hunt...love the plat - wtg!!!

please help! without a shadow of doubt I beleive you have found my class ring that has been lost or stolen over ten years ago. PLEASE HELP ME, I have prayed very hard for this return.
 
Now I have to clean my laptop screen because it's got drool all over it after admiring that Platinum ring:drool:!!! a valuable and VERY beautiful find!! I'm sure there's more waiting for you but watch out for the bull sharks!!!! HH&GL!!
