First Big Find

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site. Thought I would show you my best find of the year. 1.39 ct diamond with .50 ct baguettes and two yellow diamonds on side in Platinum. Last find of day was going home, found nothing all day but pop tops, fishing weights and clad then this happened.Was about 15" deep in waterline. Girlfriend claimed it.

The ring is worth approx $18,000+. Waiting for the official appraisal. Paid for my excal a few times. Hopefully I can get another in the next 26 years. I have been detecting since 14 years old, so my dollars per hour are about two - three cents. Great hobby!

18 grand is a pretty dang good score my friend. I'm about 2 dollars short of that on my pull tab collection.
