Not much out there but had a pleasant surprise actually 2 surprises. It was a 3 hour hunt and collected about 1/3 the amount of trash I usually pick up. Settings where 85 gain, thresh -1, 14 discrim. Had some falsing. Where I picked up the merc and wheat there is lots of trash. Sure could use a smaller coil. I did go slow, slow and just picked out the high tones.
It is a pretty good detector.

No, fresh water. I live in WI. I live only blocks from Lake Michigan. I mainly detect beaches. I usually hit 6 beaches during the summer. This summer only did 4. I guess getting old and slow.....Z
