FIRST BARK LOT YIELDS LITTLE:clsoedeyes:

I hit my first bark lot, I guess toddlers don't carry much cash. They do lose a lot of buttons, figure I would post a not-so-hot day.

At least you didn't get skunked. :detecting:

I wish everyone would include a pic of their detector in their post.

lol, I don't think I'd want to find much of what toddlers carry (been told a few times I'm full of it though) Any day you can MD is a good day. Besides, you never know what's under the next signal.................

Those bark playgrounds have given me a ton of change, rings, watches, toy cars and plenty more. Never know what you will find in them. Keep hitting them and try to be the first either after the school day or early on Sat morn. Lots of swingers "shot gun" them and grab the silver (clad) stuff and leave the pennies behind. Heck, I even found a wheatie in a school bark playground one time. YOU NEVER KNOW.........

Toddlers have parents and they aren't paying too much attention to rings etc. while other valuables are running around.

Toddlers don't carry much, but momma does. The first thing I head for when I do a tot lot is the toddler;s swing. MOMMAS lose their rings pushing the toddler's swing. I KNOW.

If you don't find much, that is because they are hit so hard. The tot lots around here are empty most of the time. I still will MD it if I am near one. The rewards are great.

GOT THAT RIGHT John!! I went to a park one day on the way to a bank to drop off some coins. An older lady was already there working the bark. I went to the other side and found a bit of change here and there. She was working under the swings (I always work them) and under the kiddy swing she finds a really nice ladies wedding band. DANG!!! She beat out the RING MAN.........:hot: Got to be there and work ALL areas before anyone else.......

We all have days like that. Some tot lots yield little or nothing sincethe only ones packing money are the parents.

Sometimes you load up, sometimes zilch. I found a silver dime in the top of the bark once. A kid had to have dropped it. Where did he get it, who knows, who cares, it's mine now.
