Well folks, my silver streak continues, and is pretty contagious ask MontanaMatt and be sure to check out his post and amazing find, way to go Matt!! Last night we returned from camping and I called Matt to see if he wanted to get out for a quick hunt. A nearby town has been very productive lately, so we headed out. When we rolled into town we decided to head to an area that I had found three wheats in a row right before leaving on a previous hunt. I told Matt that I thought that there had to be some more keepers there. We had only been hunting about 5-10 minutes when I was digging a plug that had a sweet and deep sound to it. I dumped all of my dirt into my rag and looked up to see Matt with the biggest ear to ear grin. He handed me a real nice Barber Quarter from 1913. Neither one of us had found one before, so we were both super pumped. I congratulated him and told him I had a signal as well and then he watched me pull out this silver Rosie, booyah synchronized silver!!! He went back over to his machine and got back to work and then only about 4 feet away from the Rosie I got another signal that was between 25 and 50 cent at 4 inches. I dug the plug and was amazed to find my first ever Barber Quarter only 2 minutes after Matt!! It is super hammered but can read that it is a 1905. That is only my second multi-silver coin hunt, and sure am glad that Matt and I could share eachothers hunts. On thursday I drove over to my folks house to drop some stuff off for camping and decided to detect at a nearby park for a little while before work. I found this 1944 Washington there, been lucky on quarters lately. Digging multi-coin holes is not too rare for me, but this week I found a 2 wheat hole (both 40's) and a 2 indian head hole, I was totally amazed( 1902 and 1903). Gonna have to go back where MontanaMatt and I have been cleaning house and see what else is there, be sure to check out Matt's post and thanks for looking!!

Now that's a spectacular story! Love to see all those beauties coming out of the ground. :bouncy: I'm surprised you didn't set camp on your new found spot. :please: Please keep us posted because I know there's more there, I can feel it. Hey, we went camping two weekends ago and didn't come home with anything like that. Just kidding........I am very happy for you both. Great finds all around. HH to all, Nancy

It's totally incredible that we both found our first Barber quarters within 2 minutes of each other. Maybe there is something to be said about hunting in pairs lol :p Nice job! You're on a sweet silver streak!
