First Barber Quarter and 4 other silvers this week

Old Beach does it again. Got this Barber Quarter, 1901, my first, 6 days ago at the old beach along with a Rosie dime. The metal detector alerted me as the presence of the quarter but have to admit it was sticking halfway out of the gravel. The gravel chews them up so i colorized it a little so you can see it better. Have 2 Barber halves and at least a 15 Barber dimes. Add to that the one I got today at a 1920 farm house, would you believe yes, 1901. Saturday at an old library (former industrialist mansion), with permission, in the side yard found a mercury and a rosie dime. Both the library and farm house, I believe have had the earth worked for drainage, etc so was lucky to find these on the fringes. Been getting a lot of silver dimes this year. F75ltd rocks. Good Hunts folks CO

Congratulations... Nice find ! cch

Hope my original post didnt lead you all to believe i got the 2 barber halves and the 15 barber dimes all this year. Those its taken me 2 and half years to find. Although I am having a good year for silvers (20 so far this season) overall. Rain for the next 4 days, I (along with my back, neck and hands) get a break, but on the plus side deeper stuff will get lit up with all that new moisture. Good Hunts all, CO
