first air test

Awesome! Let us know how you like it!:wiggle:

Well done you must be one of the worlds first ordinary detectorists to get a Equinox video up and running for folks to watch. Jerry.

It would be important when doing the air testing to take into consideration the speed at which the target is being waved. Waving the target very quickly is not going to replicate real world sweeping. As is known, waving a target very fast will achieve better depth results,so trying to gauge the air test “target wave” to match what a normal sweep speed would be is going to give more realistic readings,or as realistic as an air test can be...IMHO.
It’s great to see the EQ in the wild! I like what I hear as far as sounds go! It looks like they use a grip very similar to the CTx which I like,to me it’s very comfortable. Of course, the big tests are still to come when searching peoples “go to” haunts. Thank you for the video!

if you do another video ...would you try all metal and see what the difference is..... Thanks have fun with it

Nicely done, it looks pretty promising in the depth department. I can’t wait to get my hands on mine next week.

AJ,
I believe, as reported on another forum, that the lower and middle shafts are made of aluminium.

Would you mind telling me what page on facebook?

It’s almost comical people are still air testing FBS/2. Almost...
