first 3 days with ctx

Ronin

Member
results from first 3 days of hunts with ctx
worked several sites that we have worked over many years
the last ring was a 14k rgp ring at 7 inches found in an area of the
schoolyard that has always produced wheaties and has been worked over with an
explorer and a whites xlt
The buffalo is a 1937 found in a very trashy park. The ctx has been dead on with nickles
reading 12-15 every time in coin mode 50 tone combined fast recovery
The rosy was at an old house site that we have worked hard with very few targets over the years
the only other silver out of that site was a 1950 rosy
this one is a 1946

Nice snags Ronin - keep going back to the spits you've pounded in the past - there'll be more!

I figured that if I were giving the ctx a good test it would be best to go to sites that I had hunted before
That way I would know if it was able to pick out good targets in area that would not have just easy targets
