first 20 hours

Greeting All
I've used my new and first metal detector an MXT
for about 20 hours. At first I could not find anything. Then I started to dig anything that was not iron. SO far I've found a mule shoe (I was told I will find oxen shoes around my house) 4 foot cross cut saw, wagon wheel hub, 30 feet of old guy wire on road unused for 60 years, pull tabs, nails, cans, Boozo the clown magnite, many small steel rings, 68 cents in clad, and tonight at a friends house I said just one more hole and then a +86 25 cents PP at 4" low and behold a 1936 quarter and I even knew that it there before dug, right where the MXT said.I am hooked. If the MXT had back lighting I would be out there right now. Metal Detecting is more fun that I would ever thought. Can't for sun up.

MXT does need back lighting, what are they waiting on?

I dont find not having a back lite Much of a problem I use a clip on my hat light made by COAST (Made in Port. Or.) I bought it at Lowes for around $35--It has a flexible stem so i can adjust it to hit the screen by how I tilt my head--But I cannot hunt in a heavy rain because Baseball caps let it run down my neck
