First 15 days with the E-Trac

Started using the E-Trac on the 7th of this month. It showed me what I was missing in the ground with my Fisher ID Edge. This all came out of the same park. I am completely amazed at the depth of this critter. In the last 15 days I have hunted 6 of them for a total of 15 pieces of silver, 106 wheat pennies and two indian's 1907 and 1897.

I am beginning to know the sound of silver although some Canadian pennies fool me. This is one hot machine. All these finds were using the Park program on this forum. I have yet to make any adjustments. I have only found one nickel so far. Working on that.

Wow ... your doing great - congrats on all the finds ! :beers:

Aw....Please keep it a secret outside of here, lol. The Etrac eats Silver :super:

Congratulations on some awesome finds.

Scuba, right on! That is how I felt the 1st month after I bought mine. It is also a beast on civil war bullets. (Check out my posts on the CW forum) as for gold, I the Etrac is not so hot. I have dug one diamond ring, I came up as a nickel...11:13 so dig all nickel signals. HH

Not too worried about the gold. I get enough out of the water to make me happy!! My CZ-21 and my Tiger Shark make short work of that. You can see that on my website. Come late spring, summer and early fall, the E-Trac will be resting in the closet and will not be touched.

Thanks for the replies all.

I have a Saltwater machine I use twice a year. and that helps feed my gold urge...I use the Etrac 100% of the time when I'm hunting here in the Urban areas. it sniff's out Silver like a Blood Hound......it's just that good of a machine IMO, in the right hand;s of course, LOL ;)

To understand everything it is capable of, I believe it does have a huge learning curve. BUT in order to go out and start finding coins, a lot of great folks on here have already given a solid program to download and install on it, not hard at all.

I have NO idea if it will get deeper than your machine nor will I venture to guess. Others on here will have an opinion. They will not know your soil conditions or composition so it will be a guess.
