My Birthday is approaching and MsDigger (My wonderful partner) out did herself and presented me with a CTX 3030
Now despite my arm still in a sling (broken shoulder) and a wonderful head cold that some how makes me feel like i have a brick in my head.
I headed off across the road where we have a medium strip that has some age. I had hit it with a few machines and had some luck before. Previous times i gridded it this time i just wandered around and well the results speak for them selves.
Great to swing, spot on with its Depth and ID, said 7 was 7 said 5 was 5, ran it in auto everything and pinpointing was a breeze. If it was iffy it was junk but had to dig to check. Garbage was less than i found in coins so cant complain.
It seems to really lock on to a coin sized target if its not a coin size or shape it jumps around a little and when pinpoint sizing it confirms it real quick eg Can slaw. Very intuitive and whilst there are a wealth of options it does not at all feel daunting.
Always admired and wished for a E-Trac but that is no longer
So far couldn't be more impressed and looking forward to going over some old ground. Going to have to get my core strength back quick because I have a lot of deep plugs to dig
Only could manage the 1/2 hour but to say i am as keen as mustard to get out there is an understatement. Just have to remove brick from head....ahchoo
