Finished Out the Old Park

These are from the same park I was working yesterday. Today I finished gridding it out. I rescued 13 wheats, a 41D Merc, and a 54D Washington. All coins were from 5-9 in. in depth. The Merc was right next to a large rusty nail but the detector easily made the separation.

To sum up this small park (approx 250 X 80 FT.) yielded a total 23 wheats, a silver ring, 2 mercs, and one silver Washington...

Yes .. try a different coil and grid in the other direction. It's never hunted out ..

I agree mostly with " never hunter out", but when the spots dont produce for 3-4 return trips, better move on to a new one. Unless you love the sceanery there! Law of averages apply here.

Congrats on the great finds.I have a park that i always have said there can't be anything left,gridded it forwards and backwards,not a large park,but some great digs,but my point,like the other guys are saying ,I have gone back and keep going back,and yes I about got all the goody out of it,but .......bang....... up pops another silver,after a short rian,or early,so I don't know if I can ever hunt it out. congrats,and thanks for sharing.
