Finished Excal straight shaft

Finally finished, but need to replace the handle with and aluminum one.I took this off a bike I had in the basement and it's steel. The arm cuff doesn't
feel good with out the strap on and I dont like to hunt with the strap so will probably change that.Other than that it feels great and can probably swing for hours with
no problem.
I also made a clamp to eliminate the wobble in the lower shaft and did the peltor modd.Total cost so far $0. I my original straight shaft question post, I said I had
to finish a digger before i got to the shaft, so here's a pic of the digger also.

Thanks again, to you guys for all the pics and suggestions. After 6 gold rings I might be ready for another modd. HHMM lets see water proof connectors & WOT or maybe PP switch.
Get ready for question. LOL.

Cant wait to try it out.

Happy huntings, Epi

looks great....:clapping:
good luck

Good looking job and you can't beat the price. A good wide strap will make your arm more comfortable or at least it does mine. I like that digger also. HH :minelab:

If you decide to mass produce that digger I'd be interested in one.
Nice work!

If you reverse the pod on the shaft the pinpoint knob will be closer to hand, also the headphone wire won't pull so much as it will run almost straight up from shaft to head

I Like The Digger Good looking work! WtG:thumbup:
