[/img] Just put in 8 hours and finish first midway strip, have 4 more to do. Ran into some older dirt at the end that's where the Indians came from. Found all these with the 6 inch coil, was going to go over it with the stock coil to see how many I missed, But I kept getting coil not recognized so back to minelab for a new one. Most of the Indians where 6 to 7 inches deep. The other coins came in at 4 to 6 inches deep . Long day today , hope you got out.sube

Man, that is a sweet spot you've found. Please put up a picture of the total haul when you're done....if you can fit it in the viewfinder. You'll probably need a wide angle lens. Very impressive!

Funny thing is it's on a major highway with a big sign saying fairgrounds.lol sube

One only one strip out 4! Incredible amount of finds! You could spend all summer there and not have to visit any other site. How many silver out of that first strip? It seems like a lot.

wow I can't imagine doing a place like that. we have a nice old County Fairgrounds, however I think if I even dared carry my detector on the grounds that I would be shot on site.

That is some good work brother - all those Indians look like they're in great shape - nice pile of silver and even a few old nickels thrown in for good measure!

Holy crap Sube!!!
One down 4 to go?! Great spot and awesome job. That spot could take most of the summer to work over, and be well worth it. Just think "when you are all done" you will want to go back over it with different programs and coils. HONEY HOLE!

DigginVt , DukeOBass. I worked it all last summer my totals are on a post from last year, I think it was posted in October. Yes probably take a couple more summers to thin it out. I have been detecting here for 10 years, with many different detectors, including a exp 2. I just about wrote this place off because of very few finds. The ctx just open up all the targets I could not find that were mixed in the garbage pile. I figure I will clean out the area with the 6 then go back with the stock for the deep ones . Evey body else has wrote it off already. It's a lot of hard work cleaning out the area. LOL sube

Congrats Sube!!!

That haul has more Indians than I have found in my life!! LOL!!
