Fine Spring Day

BOIdaho

Spring has definitely arrived in southern Idaho. My friend and I went down to a swim area on the Snake River where we had permission to metal detect. I suited up to do some detectin in the water with my Excalibur and my friend stayed on dry land with his V3. While I was busy recovering what felt like a ton of melted aluminum; my friend was busy finding this nice silver ring along with about 5 dollars in coins. I did find the 50 cent piece from Singapore in about 3 feet of water along with a few, and I do mean a few other coins. I started to get excited about the 50 cent piece, until I realize it was nothing great, still better than nothing. After a couple of hours of digging aluminum I decided to go back to dry land with my E-Trac, where I found about $1.90 in 30 minutes. Some guy can down and told us we were not going to find anything because he had already hunted the place out. Should have asked him where else he goes to metal detect. It was a great day to get out, temps in the upper 50
