My buddy got a used qxt for a super steal but he didn't like how it made so much noise and when he thought he located at target nothing was there, so he let me borrow it to check it out. I read a bunch of reviews on it and a lot of people seemed not to like the qxt but others said there was a learning curve and that the detector detects deep. I brought it to a cellar hole and also and Old Park and have been really impressed with the depth that it gets. It is a bit noisy so I turned the noise cancel on and followed some of the settings that people mentioned such as: auto trac off. It would be cool to hear people's thoughts on the qxt and any tips that they have. I tried looking for the articles that people had written but the website was no longer up and running. I do really like White's detectors but was thinking of getting another brand that is said to detect deeper. I really like the White's machines though. I mainly want the simplicity of the Whites Classics but the depth of what people say the Explorer series gets.
