The bullet patch is still giving me some bullets and I also got a good amount of percussion caps to today.
The religious piece is not old.
I was hit by a mower blade and thrown into the woods from a nearby sports field.
Thanks for looking!

Being from the West Coast.... Findings Civil War relics are almost impossible. Based upon the pictures..? it looks like the percussion caps have all been used. (from what I can see) The bullets appeared you have no deformity from hitting a Target, and I don't see any rifling marks, so they don't appear to have been fired. But I'm not holding those bullets in my hand so it's hard to say. I Love ballistic forensics.

Yes, the percussion caps have all been fired, but the bullets I have found are dropped or discarded bullets.
One type pictured utilized a brass case and I was wondering why I was finding only the case and then realized after finding the spent caps is that some shooting took place at this site.
The other bullet had a linen cartridge which has over time deteriorated leaving only the bullet behind.
I have no idea why they were shooting or which direction they were shooting, but the area is all built up around the wood patch now, so little chance of finding a shot bullet.
This little wood patch has been like a little time capsule with little if any disturbance.
