Hunted my dads yard yesterday with the 6" hf coil. I never really gave the hf 6" a chance before as I thought it was to sensitive. but I decided to try it again. I have been over his yard several times before With the x-terra 70 and other detectors and managed to find 3 wheat's1925 1930 1944 and this 1926 buffalo. the buffalo bounce around 10-12-14 on the tid. I also found this jack along with bunch of other clad and junk. reason why I pictured the jack is because it came in at 28 on the tid thinking it my be an Indian or another wheat I decided to dig. I pulled a plug about 4" deep and checked with the pistol probe still down there. after I finally got to the jack it was about 7" deep in the ground the blade of my lesche diggers blade and about an inch of the handle was in the hole. I can be live that the 6" hit the jack that deep. I think I will start using the hf 6 more often. sorry if the scan to crappy to see.
