Finds Today Heavy Iron Infested Old House Site

Well first off when I got home I blew of the AT Pro detector with air & wiped it down with a damp cloth, kind of picky about it (that's why it's clean in the pick I did use it He He !!!!).. Hard hunt at an old heavy iron infested house sight (house no longer there). A couple of cool finds though 1 1916 Wheat, 1 old small old Avon decorative brass lip stick holder(pink rose printed on bottom & Avon products NY on top) 1 old lamp key, 1 old thimble, 1 little button, 1 rivet cover with some lettering, 3 dimes, 1 penny, 3 zincs, 2 brass washers & a small clip & some trash as we can see & a small glass bottle.

Old iron infested sights will work you hard but it's all fun at the end of the day.

Take Care All,
Bill G

Interesting mix, Bill. I love finding old keys and thimbles and personal items, always makes me wonder who used them and what their lives were like. Funny, I found that same little Avon lipstick recently - thought it was part of an old mechanical pencil until I cleaned it up.

William I agree 100% with you and I always wonder the same thing myself about personal items. That is cool that you found one of those little Avon lip stick containers they are pretty neat and getting kind or rare. I just ordered the 4.5" sniper coil for the AT Pro for these old iron infested house sites, they are real bad. I am hoping it will help me pull out some masked targets out of this old town sight from the early 1900. Some of my best finds over the years have come from this area here local. My best to date from this site is a 1906 five dollar gold coin in mint condition I found it a few years back. Again this place is one tuff area to work and your whooped by the end of the day.

Take Care,
Bill G

Oh, man! That is one beautiful coin!! Let us know how the sniper coil performs for you.
