finds so far this year with the Etrac!

I've been concentrating on a particular area this year and have probably been out a 8-10 times or so since january.
Here are my finds so far not counting the new stuff or the little trinkets or the "TRASH"..
Research does pay off

And yes, I agree - researching the sites you hunt is very important.

IMHO - three things need to come together if you want to make good finds on a consistant basis.
These three things are only as good as their weakest link.

(1) Research - will lead you to the old sites - often these are sites that other people in our hobby never knew existed.
(2) A High End Metal Detector - will increase your odds of making good finds and you will waste less time digging junk targets.
(3) A Skilled Operator - that has a lot of hours in the field and understands what his machine is trying to tell him.
