Finds so far this Fall from lakes in New England

These are some of my finds in the New England area, there's still a lot of gold out there just got to hit the right spots. all gold from lakes and ponds, Sept til now, I also try to go to the tropics once a year. My detector of choice Excal 1000 with Grey Ghost headphones and the excal11 coil. Most gold found in the last three weeks. Hope you enjoy Happy hunting Don coCo Tyler

Hi Don,
Nice finds for just a short period of time! Do you hunt in disc mode? How many pounds of lead did you find during this period? I have found that freshwater lakes are filled with lead! But the gold is there too!

Hi Steve , Yes I set at 1 Run threshold so I don't here it. Sensitivity around 10 and go real slow, I end up with a lot of coins and yes sinkers. picks up foil loud and clear which I like. Because if I can hear the foil I will find the gold.

Sweet finds for the fall.I was lucky enough to see you pull most of that out. You've had some great finds at "the spot". I've just located another beach area and did some research on it. I think we should hit it at least once this season to check it out, You sure can make that excal work for you. The next spot for us is all sand with no "muck" for at least waist deep. I will give you a call. Again, great job on all that gold. It sure has been fun having a friend out there, even though you've killed me on the gold.
