Finds like this spur me on

Lunch time at the farm house remodel today. Any help dating it or where to look for marking would be appreciated.

That is a great find!
Try looking for any markings on it.. it could date back to the Civil War.

I can't date it, but my buddy, rest his sole, found one like it out of a Civil War camp. Yours could be period, too. Neat find! HH jim n

It really looked like Cavalry once I started researching but I thought I'd get some more opinions. Thank you guys for your time I'm enjoying this site almost as much as the swinging.

His looks like the type 2 Union spur to me.
