Finds from tonight's short Hudson River hunt

Not bad for an hour and a half's worth of exercise. Managed a little silver in the form of a 1935 Washington and a 1945 silver war nickel. Also nabbed two wheats (1929 and 1940) and some other odds and ends. As always I had a blast! The quarter was right next to a huge chunk of iron and still managed to squeak out that sweet high tone at the end of the grunting distorted "fart" sound of the iron. Can't wait to get my Lesche T handle double serrated shovel and the Sunray ProGold headphones coming Monday! :clapping:

Good finds there George and bet it felt good to get out with the Sovereign again.
You are right about finding coin close or on top of iron when you know your Sovereign. I have seen it and happen to me several times, just got to go slow swing the coil so it has time to see the good target, then do the Sovereign wiggle right over that small area as the coin tone will come though.

good luck on your next outing

Rick.

Thanks Rick. Really enjoying the Sov after being away from it over 3 yrs. You just can't beat the info the Sov's audio gives on targets. Once I get my new Sunray headphones, I'll really be able to hear the deepies a lot better for sure!
